Go NOW to the GO International Designer Collective at Target

Our fearless leader CCL sent me a FabSugar link previewing the 5 Year Anniversary GO International Collection for Target which debuted in stores and online TODAY, March 13. After hyperventilating, I got my act together and was able to coherently assess the loot. Simply put, it's amazing. There are a few dresses I could do without (like the Jovovich-Hawk Lurex Dress), but there are some major winners in there too! As I wrote last week, I loooove dresses, and a collection of designer dresses at $50 or less makes me more excited than a kid on Christmas morning.

The collection is essentially a greatest hits of the past 5 years of GO International dresses (all done my high-end designers at Target's happy prices). My favorites are Proenza Schouler's Boustier Dress in Purple ($44.99), Thakoon's Printed Tie Waist Dress in Black/White ($39.99) and Gathered Dress in Cyber Floral ($39.99) and Tucker's Signature Dress in Floral Print ($39.99). What I love most about these fab dresses is that, while excellent weekend-wear staples, many of them can be easily made office appropriate too (and I love a double duty dress!). The Thakoon dresses in particular need little more than a pair of "sensible" pumps; and the others can be made professional and demure by simply adding a cardigan or blazer.

No word on how these frocks fit yet... I ordered the four listed above and CCL ordered two dresses as well. We'll report back with fit, fabric and quality, but please post in the comments section if you have tried any of them.

Happy Shopping!

  1. Thanks for the reminder--- whoa daylight savings!! Just bought the colorful thakoon one and the white eyelet one by Tracy Feith. 2 dresses for $70 and i just need a cardigan to wear them in San Fran. Not too shabby!!!

  2. Love the Tracy Feith one!! Wish you still lived down the street from me and we could share!
