A Simple Thanksgiving for Three
I'm still too stuffed to recap the Turkey day in detail but needless to say, it was a success! Nic whipped up a delicious butterball stuffed to the brim with yummy bread stuffing. I made some yummy and easy sauteed brussel sprouts with turkey bacon and a baked cheesy pasta from a Cooking Light recipe. Last but not least my brother topped it all off with his heavenly homemade apple crisp. It was a legit 3-person feast with plenty of leftovers to spare. More family arrived on Friday and on Saturday we all packed in our car to head an hour north to Sonoma for a day and night in beautiful wine country where naturally we did much more drinking, eating and relaxing :) All in all it was a good weekend.
