How To Make a Good Manhattan

Do you have a favorite dink?  Nic and I aren't the biggest of drinkers but when we go to a bar or restaurant with a well known bar or signature cocktail list we love to see how they make our favorite drinks. Lately, Nic has been into Manhattans and even learned to make one himself for impromptu happy hours.

Here's his classic recipe:

A Good Manhattan - makes 1 drink
2 parts Bourbon
3/4 part sweet vermouth
Dash of angosteera bitters
1 maraschino cherry

-Mix in cocktail shaker with ice and pour (without ice) into a cup.
-Add the cherry and sip!
