Healthy Avocado Ranch Dip

When I left Ojai on Sunday I brought back two little treats in my weekend bag, avocados from a tree at my high school! I dug into the first half of an avocado last night as a little turkey burger topper and tonight I used the second half of it in a great new topping for my favorite taco salad. With a little fat free greek yogurt, ranch seasoning powder and the half of an avocado I whipped up a deliciously creamy dip/dressing/taco topper. I put my avocado ranch in a taco salad and Nic put his on his tacos. It would also go great as a chip or veggie dip or on top of a spicy chili.

Try it out!

Avocado Ranch Dip - Makes about a cup
-1/2 cup fat free greek yogurt
-1/2 ripe avocado
-2 1/2 tablespoons ranch dressing powder (like the kind from Hidden Valley)

-Mix and mash ingredients well until creamy. You could also use a blender.
-Serve with mexican food, veggies or chips and enjoy!
