A Well Seasoned Turkey Burger
Ingredients: (Seasonings are my best guess since we eyeball it every time!)
8-10 oz lean (I like 93% lean)ground turkey (enough for 2 large burgers)
1/2 tsp salt, 1/3 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon soy sauce
-Put meat in a bowl and pour in all the spices. Mix well with your hands and form into two balls.
-Flatten balls into patties and be sure to indent the middle a little with your thumbs since this always takes longest to cook through.
-Put a pan over medium high heat and spray with Pam. Cook on one side for about 10 minutes and then flip, cook about 6 minutes or until it is done in the middle.
-Serve alone or with a slice of swiss and a little avocado like I did tonight!
